J’avais dans ma tête une conception bien précise de ce morceau, j’entendais la pulsion engendrée par mes basses, une idée pour les cordes ... Wolf a su dans son arrangement concrétiser le fruit de mon imagination. - Merci Wolf.

Ich hatte eine Vorstellung von diesem Stück, eine Auffassung des Pulses, die meine Bässe vorgeben, eine Idee für die Streicher ... Dank Wolfs Arrangement ist es genauso geworden, wie ich es in meinem Kopf hörte, und ich bin sehr glücklich darüber.
Even if there were a hundred accordion-players playing together, you would still be able to hear Lydie Auvray standing out. Her sound has verve and mellowness; her intelligent and impulsive playing can make one easily forget that this instrument, even in the Musette variant, has its limits. In Lydie's play those limits seem far away.
