observations by undulating contours

The action of closely observing something or someone is the greatest source for inspiration. Undulating Contours memorise such viewing on analog tape recorder. Musically documented events are becoming subject for reconstruction. Moving tape over the tape head mechanically, cutting loops, extracting rhythmic patterns, manipulating the pitch, extracting natural noise are the tools for recovering the observations, for setting them on different perceptions, sometimes even disagreeing about recorded facts. The result is a collection of dreamy melodies, ambient textures which present typical human states as nostalgia, happiness, endless thinking. All taken from daily observations.
