The first snow,
I watched it from the window
While I drew at my desk,
It fell harder and harder

Me and my brothers had a snowball fight with the neighbors
Paolo made one of them cry
We went for a walk and talked about,
All the good things about winter

Isa's birthday,
(She got a new guitar)
Home Run Inn,
(We went to the one in the suburbs)
Rollerskating,
(We haven't been there in forever)
No one was there,
(Where did everybody go?)
We played dodgeball,
(I got hit in the face)
At our request,
(I'm glad we asked)

Me and my sister spent the afternoon at the library,
I couldn't find a book
When we finally left it was already dark,
It was snowing so hard when we jumped in the car
Me and Paolo stayed up past 11 o'clock,
Watching Jurassic Park

The mountains,
The valley,
The sky when I wake up,
The moon in the morning
All the things I love about winter in Arizona
