Maggie Dubris is a writer and sound-artist based in New York City. She worked for many years as a 911 paramedic and her latest book, BrokeDown Palace, is drawn from that experience. During the 1990s, Maggie was the guitarist and a principal songwriter for the all-female extravaganza Homer Erotic. During the pandemic she has been working on an opera, Broke, with composer Andy Teirstein.
