Mojave by Malarki

Frequency modulated DSP. These are idm and dark ambient pieces, created using MaxMsp and a Nord Modular G2. Inspired by trips to the Eastern Sierra, Driven is based around harmonically stacked fm operators. About 60 of them. Inyokern is a dark ambient textural soundscape that channels the feeling of the site of the 2019 Ridgecrest earthquakes. Cover art was shot in the Mojave desert.

Sales proceeds will be donated to arts nonprofits.

Electronic music from the SF Bay Area, mixing rhythmic ambience, abstract soundscapes, experimental sound design, and occasional algorithmic composition.
