(devoción), Manitas Nerviosas' sophomore release was conceived and incubated by Valis during a period of experimentation with 4 track tapes starting in 2013 until recently, where she decided to explore her voice and the songs that can come from it. On (devoción), through Manitas Nerviosas, Valis appears more solid and stronger with nails firmly buried in the ground and legs stretched up in the air like a lightning rod, transforming the electricity in the atmosphere into songs of hope(lessness) and redemption.
