Indigo .:. The Threshold and Initiation
Moving from New York to the Bay Area, CA, Carmen Gutierrez continued to share her songs on guitar. She connected with creativity communities and learned how to network and build herself as an independent artist. Going from the coffee shops to bigger stages with packed houses. She started from zero and had so much to learn, primarily being a solo artist and beginning to play with great musicians and starting her first bands. She absorbed as much information as she could and began going by the name MAMA CROW, simply because it was easier for people to remember. She began to expand herself as a songwriter, band leader and budding producer. After 6 short months, this album was birthed out of SERA PHI studios in San Francisco, CA, where she embarked on crossing the threshold in this creative initiation.
