Tranquilizer Dart by Dub Sonata

Producer Dub Sonata is back with his first LP since 2012's Media Shower collaborative album with Double A.B. Since then, Dub has stayed busy crafting songs for artists such as Jidenna, Sage Francis, and nearly all the contributors on Tranquilizer Dart. The 10-track compilation finds Dub reaching back into the past while embracing his future: some of these records have sat unreleased for the last decade, while other brand new material has been impulsively stripped down and re-recorded so recently that the vinyl includes a different version than what’s streaming. Familiar fans will recognize frequent collaborators and newcomers alike, including his own side project Evening Elevator, adding an interesting layer of haunting vocals to the album. Tranquilizer Dart drops on vinyl, CD and all streaming platforms 12/2/22 via Man Bites Dog Records.
