Places stay

...I move from place to place
frame to frame
collector of views through windows
of cars, boats, planes, trains and houses
collector of corners
Beeklaan – Weimarstraat

Avenue Henri Barbusse – Avenue Jean Jaurès
of people
also moving from place to place
like plasma through the veins
of the solar traveling system
an eternal embracing body
containing us all.
Like tiny black specks in motion
on the giant map of rails and roads
to meet, part, come and go
discover, escape, return and stay
sometimes frozen through one quiet second
halfway down a deserted hall
then move on...

(But if this body contains me
then is it also not so
that as I travel through places
places travel through me
and that sometimes, though I go,
places stay?)

Born in Belgrade 1979. Violinist, sound artist, curator and researcher mostly active in the field of electro-acoustics, instrumental improvisation & experimental sound related arts. Graduated at the Belgrade Music Academy, then gained PGDip at the Royal College of Music, London.
