"Even Us" was started the day after the 2016 election. In the studio with Lost Bayou Ramblers making a soundtrack to a film about Nutria rats. We didn't feel like winners that day. The start of the apocalypse? Naw, that goes back to believing in the Fall and the garden of Eden, but that's another story. What kind of music is this? Serf Music with insane hog callers howling behind 2 drummers going berserk? "Drink to me only and save yourself this time".
