Butterfly from I'm Sorry by Mary Ives
I produced this song after listening to a podcast about Marie Antoinette, and wanted the music to reflect the stages of her life: first becoming royalty, second becoming a party-girl, and third becoming a hated symbol of oppression. Originally, it was supposed to be an instrumental, but my co-producer and mix engineer Spencer Riley Alfonso said he liked the lyrics, and thus it came to be!
