"Sakura" is a homage to the transient beauty of cherry blossoms, a symbol of life's ephemeral nature. The use of Major Seventh chords paints an auditory picture of the blossoms' delicate balance between vibrant existence and the inevitability of passing, invoking a contemplative appreciation of momentary beauty.
Expressions Uniting Diverse Ideas. Masaki attended Berklee College of Music, and was one of the five finalists for an audition by Sony Music. He composed music for a TV news program on NHK in 2003.
In 2011, he moved to Lahore, Pakistan to teach music in school, where he spent a total of 6 years designing a curriculum for students. He has also taught and performed in Berlin.
