Arquitectura by Les Eines
Arquitectura presents a landscape of retrofuturistic sounds, ambient layers and folk music. The tracks have been created putting together a vast variety of synthesizer voices, field recordings and classical guitar samples, seamlessly connecting experimental music and tradition.
The album is a sonic itinerary of evolving architectural styles over time, and was inspired by amateur films about architecture from the late 70’s. The tracks combine elements of early electronic music, ambient and fourth world.
Les Eines (translated from Catalan as The Tools) is the solo project of Ivo Valdivielso, also founder of Can Ràbia, and it was established as a laboratory for exploration between sound technology and traditional music.
