nebulous was written & recorded over the course of 2023 through 2025. The title originated after realizing that all the songs and lyrics had multiple meanings and layers the more you listen to them.

Matte Black Wolves was born in the Spring of 2017 in a beat up rehearsal room in Van Nuys, CA.
3 people entered with the idea of writing songs influenced by darkwave and shoegaze sounds. However, 2 people left and 1 decided to continue under the name Matte Black Wolves.
The Summer of 2020 The debut album "Over My Head" was released. Since then, there have been 3 more albums.
