So then, there's this. I've been recording this casually over the past couple of months. I wanted to do something "lo-fi" and stripped. "Honest", I suppose. The production isn't great on purpose. or rather, I didn't really attempt to polish. Half of them are live takes, deliberately untouched, and then I added some flourishes. I think the whole thing describes my current mood, this year. A couple are personal and one, I wrote when I was about 19 or something.

I named it Miserable because, quite frankly, it's a miserable little body of work.

Matthewy Babbsy used to be an integral cog in the machine known as The Lewishambles Scene. He has done Peel Sessions, released real singles that got played on the real radio when radio was zapped down via waves and radioactive energy. Matthewy is famous for making catchy rock but has matured towards positive outlook and recorded affirmation upon pancakes of acoustic weirdness & muse. not the band.
