Outer Space by The Milk Flies
"We Can Go To Outer Space Whenever We Want" was born on New Year's Eve 2023. Dan and TaRosa decided to make a song together to call in the new year and say goodbye to the old one. Inspired by her engagement with the imagery and energy of the music of Kurt Vile during her studies in an experimental PhD program in visionary leadership, TaRosa wanted to write a song featuring a story he often tells about meeting Neil Young.
"We can go to outer space whenever we want" is a way of being. It's a declaration of the power of imagination, creativity, and collaboration.
In the spirit of the New Year's inspiration that generated this song, we've decided to release it to you this New Year's Eve 2024.
You can go to outer space whenever you want.
