Sonic Memories by mediaartscommittee

MAC invited proposals for experimental sound compositions that engage with archival material. These archives might be personal, familial, institutional, online, etc. How can we remediate memory through sound? What histories now haunt our sonic imaginary?

The 12 artists featured here were commissioned to produce pieces in Fall of 2020.
