Unexpected by Felix Ando
This EP is a psychedelic infused Bass Music and Downtempo release of Tokyo-based music producer Felix Ando.
He has been producing electronic music since 2004 and has been mainly active under his progressive trance name Airi, signed on Zenon records.
He has developed a growing interest in Downtempo, Bass Music, Future Garage and related styles over the years and started experimenting with this genre in 2012. In 2020 he finally decided launch his new project in order to exhibit his unique style within a new universe.
"Unexpected", released on Merkaba Music, tells the story of the sometimes unpredictable nature of Life. Unexpected encounters, places, circumstances. Amidst these, we always need strength and courage to move forward and trust Life that all things have a meaning even though they may seem beyond our comprehension.
The EP is packed with five thought provoking tunes that take the listener on an insightful and mind-opening journey, inciting to reflect once more on Consciousness and its interconnected character.
Chunky basses, modern synth design and characteristic atmospheres will guarantee an engaging and immersive sound experience.
