ICE CREAM is out today! It didn’t make it onto DOG BEACH but is a song like others on the album that explores themes of childhood, nostalgia, love and notably joy in the darkness. Written in 2020 when isolated in Berlin, sitting alone for many weeks. The final recording is made up of much of the home demo … maybe I’ll dig it up one day soon, could be sweet to hear it in its early days as the spirit is one that informed me a lot about the feeling I was looking for in the album.
