Earth Connection from Meditations by Metta Malerie

Our modern world has made it very easy to be disconnected from Mother Earth. We get food and medicine from grocery stores and pharmacies instead of our gardens. We often times even get someone else to prepare our foods that nourish our bodies. We drive cars instead of walking from place to place. We typically don’t make our own tools, clothes or homes. All of this disconnects us from nature and the earth that provides for us. But the earth always has our backs. She gives and gives. She remains steady and constant but we forget this and we feel different when our connection to her is diminished even if it’s subconsciously. You have the power to reclaim this connection and this meditation will bring you one step closer to her.

Being grounded is a feeling we all crave. We want to feel safe, connected and held. This is a meditation to help cultivate that feeling. Listen in to let the earth hold you, to reflect on your roots and what you are growing as well as to find a deep appreciation for how the earth has provided for you.
