Beyond Chaos by Michael Stearns

Over the last three years (2022 thru 2024) Michael has been working on projects with Julius Horsthuis, a fractal artist from Amsterdam (http://www.julius-horsthuis.com).

This is music Michael composed for Julius’s “Beyond Chaos”, a 3D moving fractal installation at Experimenta in Germany. Experimenta is one of Europe’s largest domes with 3D projection and 30 channel immersive sound.

The “Beyond Chaos” production consists of three movements, “Nature”, “Architecture” and “Brain”, each 12 minutes long.
These movements are composed of shorter themes which weave together in a linear fashion.

Both the longer movements and the shorter themes have been mixed and mastered separately for streaming and download.

Included in this release is the piece “No Entropy” composed for Julius’s VR album (and dome production) “Recombination”.
