From a 1996 second generation cassette (sorry about the heavy hiss / it could NOT be reduced any further), this is the genesis of the straight ahead dark techno/hard house sound that would be an occasional side project for Max Edman throughout the years. The original cassette master was lost in the late nineties, but was recorded directly from a midi-triggered drum machine and two samplers into a Tascam 4 Track in one day. Most samples were culled from VHS cassette movies recorded in Extended Play mode. The updated album art was inspired by 12 inch singles and their atypical covers in the mid to late nineties.
Established in 1994 as a hobby label to release cassettes of poetry and random noises. Label flounder Max Edman has wasted his life on music & artists that never sold. After decades of digital marketing and putting in MAD work, he no longer gives a fuck and quits! He made a little over $1100 in 13 years over 102 albums on this platform. You do the math, if you even stagger upon this page.
