Some new music with new apps. Calming voyages referencing Oceanic moments and tropical interludes. Digital daydreams with occasional peripheral lap-steel incursions. Dedicated to our aquatic, avian and insect friends.
These pieces reflect a change in my pace of lifestyle after moving from Rome, a place I lived for 30 plus years, to Valencia in Spain, a much more liveable city and within walking distance to the sea.
They are also the result of scaling back my equipment due to the fact that airlines seem to have become musician unfriendly lately, breaking or losing instruments and equipment.
Tau Moe, one of my favourite Hawaiian guitarists, wrote "The rhythm of the island, is in the rolling sea ..."
