Birth Machine by Mindripper

My new album 'Birth Machine'. It's the longest one I've ever did with almost 2 hours. But I'm really proud of it and shows how much my sound has evolved and matured in 1 year since I've started making music. It's kind of a continuation and remake of the first album, Scrap Metal Body, with elements of my last few albums, but it's also it's own thing. It's inspired a lot by early Swans and Skinny Puppy.

A concept album about how humanity's ability to reproduce has gone obsolete, because humans get produced by a machine. Flesh is merged with metal to reproduce bald soulless slaves of a biomechanical deity. However, what would happen if one of them gets born with a soul? Taking inspiration from movies like The Demon Seed, THX 1138 and When Black Birds Fly and the work of HR Giger, this concept album will merge old-school industrial with metal and John Carpenteresque retrosynth to take you into a nightmare future where flesh and metal are one and the same... almost...
