Photosynthesis by modern biology
An ode to one of life's original magic tricks - photosynthesis! We plugged into an Amaryllis flower for movement 1, and then into a Cycad for movement 2+3. Bioelectrical activity was converted into notes and rhythms on various synthesizers. All pieces are improvised. Recorded LIVE at the Bloedel Conservatory in Vancouver on March 15, 2025.
