"Frequency Fold: Even the most basic assumption, that we have anything to do with the things around us, is secured with only a fleeting grasp. We come loose, we struggle, we drop. We leave behind what was always there, detached objects. Detached is such a heavy descriptor in this context; its implication that there was a connection to begin with is a false narrative. This record is the soundtrack to discovering that false narrative. Welcome to the Error Dome. Free falling in suspended animation while witnessing the spaghettification of perceived human connection, unrecognizable strands of reality streaming above like snapped tethers. Ties have been severed and it's the point of no return. Weightless and Miniscule (Pleiades). A ballad of resigned acceptance. The stars in the sky observe us as we observe them, a blank colorless intake of information from both ends. Nothing to process, nothing to gain, just a measured scanning of our inanimate surroundings. A calm awareness of a true reality provides cold comfort. The Deep End. The deepest wail laments the heaviness of unwelcome knowledge. The sound of total surrender. Grey Satisfaction.
