SpoTs by Ken Moore
There appears to be a series formulating in the use of tam-tams from the Gong Room, merging with the smooth sounds of Allen Myers' Short Stories Synthesizer. This time around, we have participation of some synth sounds from the vintage Moog Sonic Six Synthesizer.
Ken's Heavy Metal recordings began the live arrangements of solo gongs, and then Morning Creations merged the Moog Sonic Six with his own private recordings of his tam-tam and cymbal collection. Vast Din was an improvement of the concerts he shared with Dave Vosh as Safe Creations, giving more voice to the Short Stories Synthesizer, made by Allen Myers.
Three of the tracks appearing on this album are live gongs recordings merged with the SSS (short stories synth), and two include the SSS along with the Moog Sonic Six (as well as tam-tams).Therefore, all these recordings are percussion compositions, augmented with electronic sound.

Ken Moore has been using sound as music since 1975. This site began as a promotion for the Moore/Myers band, which released two albums in the 1980s. Now, Ken has expanded his talents to include percussion and abstract recordings from the Gong Room. With the addition of Short Story, ACS is creating even better adventurous sounds, more than ever before.
