Iedellico by Mothtasia

Iedellico is a nonsense word, and as such the album cover is intelligible beauty and grace. The penwork I did in the hospital when my highest form of entertainment was a tiny pen insert and a shit ton of computer paper.

Iedellico (Ih-del-li-coh) - The process of decapitating part of someone's organs and sewing it to another part to make a biological IED that can kill the person at any moment. My injury is atypical and rare and thus deserves its own name; I had a notorious trans hating surgeon botch a sex change surgery I was coerced under duress to get sewing a piece of my colon to the back of my neovagina. Any day it can just burst inside me spreading infection to the rest of my body and kill me before I can get to the only surgeon that can fix it 45-60 minute Uber away, not even including time it takes to get to the operating table. The surgery to fix it comes with an almost guarantee of making me even more physically disabled than I currently am. I need to have my vagina amputated and I can't even get secure housing long enough to heal from it.

I do the only work I'm capable of in my condition which is streaming and writing music, sometimes both at the same time. I've worked 60+ hour weeks spending every moment I'm not forced into resting working for Mothtasia. I've had so much help and beautiful wonderful amazing people who helped me get this far and live long enough to release my 2nd album. I'm eternally grateful to the people who kept me alive long enough to see this day.

It doesn't matter how shit things get, it doesn't matter if your facing imminent genital amputation or aren't expected to live longer than a year, just keep fighting. Keep going; I promise you it'll pay off in the end. Find acceptance and choose happiness - I know it sounds ridiculous to choose happiness, but it's a mentality you train, not instantly get - be the music star of your dreams, be the performer of the ages, it doesn't matter if you have one person supporting you, keep going, keep making art, keep making music, keep creating beauty through change.
