Elektrøn by Møtrik
Møtrik’s latest track, “Elektrøn,” mixed by John McEntire (Tortoise, Yo La Tengo), beams aboard before settling into a familiar groove that’s equal parts trance and dance. Synths buzz and guitars chirp as the chiming main riff takes over and carries us down a red-dirt pathway. Then from seemingly out of nowhere we are lifted into the ether, before being gently returned to solid ground. With “Elektrøn” Møtrik offers, yet again, a telescopic view of what future trips await us.
