On July 10th, 2012, about to enter retirement, the editor-in-chief of the Badische Zeitung Emmendingen, Hans-Jürgen Truöl, wrote the following report about my music, or rather about me and my work: "It is difficult to highlight all of his brilliant achievements as undoubtedly one of the most outstanding original, if not even the most unique music composers of his time, because his compositions, his musical works, are so numerous and of such outstanding quality, that a normal music lover becomes dizzy with pure delight. Despite the small shock in between in 2008 with his works in his album 'Made In Germany', which were almost too critical of the Germans, at least for listeners from the German-speaking areas, even though Deian Mountbatten (formerly known as 'Dejan Djordjevic') asserted that the deliberately shocking term 'scum' is only a synonym for the proletariat, which is actually true. I thought that with artists whose works are autobiographical you should never feel personally addressed and accosted, and so I must listen and watch with a more cosmopolitan attitude, without immediately discriminating against and dismissing everything that you do not like. Until the end of 1996 he was an Emmendinger, and locally known as one of the honorary citizens of the large district town of Emmendingen. In the art world, however, many only knew him for the fact that he really and genuinely does everything himself, without the help of management and without any hype from a music industry giant, and was therefore only known as an insider tip from music connoisseurs from all over the world and from newspapers and radio stations, and for the fact that despite his uniqueness he had never been seen on television. One always believes strongly in fairness in one's own country and sees Germany as a less corrupt island of democracy and freedom in an otherwise rather worrying Europe, and therefore one rightly asks oneself why it is that no one in Germany is making him, of all people, famous for the outstanding things he has already achieved in life. One can only wish him more luck in his adopted new home of Great Britain, where he has settled since the end of 1996."

In der Kunst kannten ihn viele jedoch nur dafür, daß er ohne die Hilfe eines Mangements und ohne jeglichen Hype eines Musikindustrieriesen wirklich und echt alles selbst macht, und daher aber auch lediglich als Geheimtip von Musikkennern aus aller Welt und aus Zeitungen und Rundfunksendern bekannt war, und dafür, daß er trotz seiner Einzigartigkeit noch nie im Fernsehen zu sehen war. Man glaubt ja immer stark an die Fairness im eigenen Land, und sieht Deutschland als eine weniger korrupte Insel der Demokratie und Freiheit im anderweitig eher besorgniserregenden Europa, und fragt sich deshalb berechtigt, warum das denn so ist, daß ausgerechnet ihn der er ganz offensichtlich kein Deutscher ist, in Deutschland niemand berühmt macht für das was er im Leben bereits so hervorragendes geleistet hat. Man kann ihm in seiner adoptierten Neuheimat Großbritannien, wo er sich seit Ende 1996 niedergelassen hat, nur mehr Glück wünschen."
