Humans Were by Deian Louis Francis Albert Victor Nicholas George Mountbatten (date of birth: 19th November 1965)

Although this seems to be my first album of the year 2023, as I released it on 10th May 2023, it is actually my second album, because my first album in January 2023 is called Love 2023, Clean Synthesizer Music (included an exclusive music video release that is 39 minutes and 37 seconds long and can be watched only on my Facebook.com/deian.mountbatten and on my personal YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/@MountbattenMusicVideos ).

We have a new monarch, our newly crowned King Charles III, and I hope that them and I and all other citizens of Great Britain are going to have a worry-free future. The coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as king and queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms, took place on Saturday, 6th of May 2023, at Westminster Abbey in London, when Charles acceded to the throne on 8th of September 2022 upon the death of his mother, Elizabeth II. I never understood why having unique God given creative abilities, a higher moral standard, and being the kindest person with the most tender character of all was the reason for being hated and conspired against to be robbed and murdered. And of course, despite all my suffering as a good-natured, peace-loving victim, I would never blame the officially recognized king of my beloved fatherland, Great Britain. People who, even if they think they have a reason to do so, impose spells and deathwishes on others, are not only mentally disturbed but dangerous domestic terrorists, no matter how famous and powerful they are. And to conspire against me is exactly that.

As for this album I named Humans Were, the initial album release date was 24th February 2023, but I moved it to 10th May 2023, because of a serious conspiracy against me that peaked to an extreme just after midday on 9th May 2023. Domestic terrorists are behind it, as they and their, sometimes uniformed, criminal henchmen engage in hacking, perverting the course of justice, falsifying, lying, being typically ridiculous and stupid, but above all, having no chance in trying to put a good law abiding man down. They wish they could take away some of our basic human rights like the freedom of own opinion and freedom of speech, but they are not, as even only Britain alone is a society enjoying the freedom of speech. I am a lifelong pacifist and artist.

The album poster features a colour photo of me at home in my L-Sound Studio/Atlantis University on 20th February 2023, just having handwritten and handsigned a letter to my pen pal Ms Chinenye Immaculata Odoemenam from Nigeria who inspired me to track 3, my instrumental work: In God's Eyes Everything Alive In The Universe Is The Same.
Now to the proverbial common thread that runs through all my works of art, and also through this, my second album of 2023. Freedom of expression, diversity and artistic freedom in Britain and the rest of Europe are at risk. My ideological culture struggle as an artist remains, because as an artist I at least have to stand up to my own works and my freedom in creating these, autobiographically as I do it, so that the constant push from extreme voices from right and extreme voices from left against the freedom of art as such does not threaten our societies. When the right-wing nationalists and left-wing nationalists in Europe, with cold sweat on their foreheads shaped by extreme ideas, vision themselves of "tackle the desinfection of the cultural industry" and dream of a conservative-national-social revolution, this is a warning for, above all, every local cultural policy of restriction and rollback. Everybody knows: "Art is free, it does not have to please and it must never serve." Only in this way can art develop its innovative power and continually open up new, free thoughts and perspectives to the world. This is why, as an independent artist, I must at least stand firmly by my own cultural struggle, against the stupidities and impertinences of the idiots from the left and the right and resolutely oppose their fartbrain-visions, and thus also fight for the freedom of art and culture in general. Alone stalkers can be harmless, some stalkers can be dangerous people, but most are only a nuisance. But when a toxic mixture fabricated by extremely competitive musicians and devious session musicians and pseudo-friends as well as over-fanatical fans and anti-fans and stalkers become a danger to my life, then it's gone too far and too much damage has been done to my life over the years and decades. I haven't mentioned any names or anyone in particular, and as I already mentioned, the initial photo of the song poster only showed a small amount of the actual shocking extent of the hate mail and hate messages and hate phone calls that I have to endure every day, this as an independent artist/music composer/writer, and already for way too long. Art is free, it does not have to please and it must never serve.
