Collapse from KNOCKOUT by Mr Trick

Knockout is an EP made entirely on the Pocket Operator PO-33 sampler. After hearing Loman's awesome work on the PO-33, I felt inspired to grab one and have a go myself. The aim was to produce music entirely on the device, and this is the result. Three tracks of varying styles; Knockout is a Mr Oizo-style funk head nodder... Exhaustion is an 80s retro-synth soundtrack kinda vibe, and Collapse is a Muggs-style raw beat thing.

The POs sample at some crazy low rate, adding masses of crunch and hiss to things. So, these cuts are raw, but oddly the better for it. I couldn't imagine them all polished and slick.
