Crushed from Pieces by Master Control Program
Seeing adolescents exploring relationships and dating brought me back to my youth. I was way too shy to date as an adolescent, but the feelings... I remember how powerful they were, and how they seemed to just roll over me and leave me feeling... crushed. Evoking that feel was the aim of this, and I think I did that in my own way. As the idea is the newness and the exploration, I did a little exploring with the sound of this track to claw back a little piece of the past, both sonically and emotionally.
