Focus by J46+2 - a complicated ambient album in full length.
Complicated ambient describes music recorded in a studio environment with a deeper focus on hardware synths & effect units. Tracks are based on more traditional arrangements than contemporary ANWs, while still retaining the feel of effortless floating within the compositions. They are something different and deeper than off the shelf, digital sounds made with a computer. Listeners will hopefully agree this is worth the effort.

"Heart" created in unity with Ben Rehling unleashing the harsh noise and Ben Hudgins providing genuine NYC field recordings.
"Nixen" recorded, arranged, and mixed with the help of my then-six-year-old daughter as part of her underwater pen & paper campaign.
"Hilda" manifested through the incredible guitar work of Eddie.Fuzz, a real one.
Recorded between 2018 and 2022 with equipment by Doepfer, Earthquaker Devices, Elektron, Instruo, Korg, Kustom, Paratek, and others.
