8 years by Unleashed Cooperation

We give you a collection of thoughts, inspirations and finally a map of our sensitivity. This album is the result of many years of experiences and explorations of the depths of free jazz, improvisation and ethnic music. All of that took place during last 8 years and hence the title. It is a testimony of the changes that took place both within us and in our work. For some of us it was a time of growing up as artists and finding our roles in the world of music, for others it was a time of finding their own place on earth and formalizing certain stages of life. This album was inspired by all these elements and because of that you can see and understand our way of getting to where we are now. We hope to continue on this way with this album as a new beginning.

When we were creating this band, we wanted the word "cooperation" to be animportant element of it. It has a symbolic meaning for us, both in musical andsocial context. We believe that through cooperation we're able to change theworld around us for better. That is why we also invited someone with thesame approach to release a CD.

The album cover you hold in your hand was created in cooperation with apolish company Pole Pole that sells ethical clothes from different parts of Africa. They say about themselves that they want to stand in opposition to "fast fashion from retail chains". Hence the name Pole Pole that means "slowly slowly" in Swahili. The cover art was inspired by the jacket owned byour saxophonist Krzysztof Kuśmierek. Presently Pole Pole is our partnerproviding the whole band Unleashed Corporation with clothes.
