These songs are love stories…
The first seven songs were recorded on old equipment which adds a certain atmosphere to the songs which I find beautiful and mysterious. They sound out of time.
The second seven songs were recorded on contemporary equipment and should sound different.
The first two songs are deliberately styled after the great love songs from the 1930’s-1950’s written to appeal to popular jazz of that era.
All We Must Do is of course about new love and all the promise and belief in the future
Just Believing also a song about new love
Real Love is a song about the longing for authentic love
Blue For You is about the type of love that will never last
Bull Street Blues this is about the things a man will don to take care of his family and the regrets that come with going too far
Rock & Roll Fool is about the sometimes futile feeling that comes along with writing and performing music.
Nothing Stays The Same is a song about change
Good Enough love that cannot transcend differences
Mystifying this is a song about the miracle of love
Let It Be Me this is a song I wrote while living in Hoboken and looking across the Hudson river at Manhattan one night.
The Devil You Know is a song about second guessing the attentions of another
The Sun Puts The Shine in The Moon is about being far away from the one you love
Worthy is about a guy that can’t get out of his own way
Here and Gone is a song about sudden loss and the questions that remain

Thanks for visiting and having a listen to our music. These songs are about people I have known, or, have never known and would like to know and, in some cases people I wish I’d never known. However, on the whole, these songs are about feeling unknown.
