3 by Tristan Magnetique
With his moniker Tristan Magnetique we welcome German sound wizard Günter Schlienz back to Muzan Editions. This time he trades self-built modular synths with what he calls his “trusty” Casio CZ101 and effect pedals. Though the set up is more limited, Schlienz’s approach sees him stepping into more psychedelic, kosmische territories. Two long sides show Schlienz’s fine sense of crafting beautiful and slowly evolving soundscapes. You might find yourself in a state of hypnagogia while listening, evoking a feeling of intimacy and warmth.
