My Brilliant Career are an Isle of Wight,UK –based synth-pop/rock duo featuring writer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Steve Watson and vocalist Dan Duveaux. Drawing on the spirit of the early 80s, their sound fuses cinematic synths, emotive vocals and art-rock attitude inspired by Bowie, Duran Duran, Japan, Roxy Music and Simple Minds.
