who am I but a mirror to the sky
I've lived too short of a life to see so many people die
addiction killing real people overdose every day
feel the world getting cold parts of it pure evil
healing hands want to heal and want cure people
cut out my earlobes when I don't want to hear people
racist and homophobes divide and want to kill people
what's the deal people?

mental illness is a spectacle
glorify destruction/ self deprecating mental notes
self reflecting/ death inside a stethoscope
redirecting/ tell me that I'm not alone
need perspective/ stuck inside a metronome

my heart is on it's on beat.
rhythm skips when thinks about its lost homies
that died feeling lonely
If I would of picked up that phone call, if only

never knew that I be a suicide hotline
I know now, but I didn't know in time
I don't believe in a fictitious god
there's no giant guy chilling in the sky, no
I don't believe in a heaven or hell
but I believe right now/ you have a story to tell
and your message could spread/ the knowledge and experience
could help someone get through their shit

let's never stop learning this world is our academy
we've been boxed in/ to limit our beliefs

my dying has been/ filling me with grief
