Experience a transformative sound bath with this genre-defying music. It features a magical blend of ambient, world, acoustic, and singer-songwriter styles, infused with a touch of devotion.
Sound and harmony possess healing qualities - especially the dharanis that use Sanskrit texts - which we aimed to express in these tracks. Several friends have used them in hospice work or to assist others in processing grief through sound. The unplugged versions have been played in primary schools during lessons to help children remain calm and focused.
This album presents the complete version originally envisioned by the producer, combining tracks from ShoSaiMyo Vol. 1 and Vol. 2.

Zen chants, folk guitar, fingerstyle, and classical arpeggios. My experiences of combining Zen practice, playing guitar and singing in choirs, have greatly influenced my music. Instead of regular lyrics, I use chants from Buddhist sutras and dharanis, while creating restorative sounds using harmonies. Some of the tracks have even been used in hospice work because of their soothing quality.
