“Hostile Facelings”

Rosemary reappeared, urging Kris to hurry to her house and warning them to avoid being touched by the horde of facelings which had followed them through the anomalous region. Kris made a run for it, and the facelings seemed to grow more agitated the closer they got to the mansion. The unnatural sludge-like substance from the Grassrooms materialized, blocking the way forward, and it was clear that the horde was controlling whatever this stuff was. It was then that Rosemary knew she had no choice but to fight back, so she summoned giant arms from the ground which began snatching the facelings away. To Kris’ amazement, Rosemary grew a pair of wings and her head started to glitch out as she made short work of the horde, while at the same time the mansion sucked Kris inside of it. Insane, never had an entity so powerful ever been documented, even by child faceling standards she was off the scale with power.
