Metropolitica was realized in September 2013 and scheduled to be released on September 28, 2014 but instead was shelved for unknown reasons. The Metropolitica material consists of outtakes from the 1st album and extra recorded material from 2013 and 2014 so technically it's loosely definied as a compilation b-sides extended-play album.

Below, I have further elaborated my thoughts in this non-fictional short story about Metropolitica and how it fits into my discography.

I was certainly unsure about something I was certainly sure about. Let me explain what I mean.

For a long time, I've been misinterpreting Jet Pack Abuse as the 2nd album instead of the 3rd because Metropolitica magically appeared into my discography in the blink of an eye.

It is a fact that Jet Pack Abuse is the 2nd officially released album. It was conceived, realized, and posted online in 2014 without any complication or misconception. However I put the entire Metropolitica album online with the original release date set as September 28, 2014.

My memory started to improve as I made Metropolitica public on Bandcamp sometime in 2017. Once this happened, I began to view Jet Pack Abuse as the 3rd album instead of the 2nd, after all they were both studio albums at heart. I began to consider what other options I have in terms of name-calling since I had 30 more albums to think about. I really wanted to keep my discography organized.

Compilation albums were never a thing for Nacadamia Nutcase until GOO's "The Gayest of GOO" in 2016 and the 2017 various artist album, "Supervisofr." These releases would add to the confusion.

Originally recorded in 2014 and realized that it would be released in September of that year, I treated Metropolitica as a studio album that was going to be released on September 28, 2014. This release date wasn't followed due to a number of impending factors and complications. Simply-put, it was mostly due to my increasingly dysfunctional memory, or lack thereof one at all.

One thing is for sure, Metropolitica has everything to do with Summer 2014 than any point in time that came later.

Later, I brought it off the dusty shelves in 2017. To say the least, I was startled, as at that point, I was so incapacitated with relying on the numbering system to help sort out all of the albums and ever-so-slight differences between albums. To avoid confusion, I started to think of Metropolitica as a b-sides compilation album instead of a studio album. This made more sense to me at first because the songs were originally made for the 1st album and didn't make the cut. That being said, it wasn't as though I wasn't going to use these songs for the next album because I had already planned on releasing more with all of the material I had accumulated. If I had to call the first Nacadamia Nutcase compilation album, Metropolitica is definitely it...

So, to clarify the main idea, if I can even clarify it:
-> Jet Pack Abuse is the 2nd studio album by Nacadamia Nutcase.
-> Metropolitica is the 1st compilation album I've ever released by any name I've ever used.

Whatever, I guess it's just a number it really doesn't matter all that much. If you want to go ahead and call Metropolitica the 2nd then go ahead but then that makes Jet Pack Abuse the 3rd so be careful I don't end up with two 2s...

Considering everything I've wrote here, I still get confused about what type of album this is, whether it's a studio or a compilation and whether it's the 2nd or 3rd. Oh, well, I'd better stop talking now. I'll just call it a ghost album because it really did exist in a way, just not in my remembering memory nor my friends or anyone on the internet and nobody had any knowledge of this album except me.
