GOOD FRIDAY by Natural Sway

Happy Good Friday, however your beliefs may move you. I grew up in the United Methodist Church and although I am not a Christian, religious imagery and the stories that build the many religions of the world interest me. God is good, god is great and god is up for debate. Meanwhile, Jesus awaits a ressurection-birthday cake. Sometimes I think there's no god. Other times, I think everybody is god when they get closer to love.
I told my sister once of my tendency to circulate negative thoughts. It's something I sometimes struggle with. She suggested I make a list of 3 good things each day. I've practiced this sporadically in my notebooks and it's amazing how the smallest things can be appreciated. One day I wrote, "names of carpets," because carpet names at the carpet store had me laughing my ass off. They were better than lots of poetry, or worse, not sure, I do love poetry too, put that on the good list.
I followed the directions of my sis and maybe misfired with the church, but the hearts in it. GOOD FRIDAY. GOOD THINGS. Mailed my list to the judge in this here tune. Please see that it gets there Mr. Prine. Hope you're well. Happy 95th Birthday Grandmother Eilbeck- a fine trombone player.

I played guitar (mom's) , keyboard, tuning fork in A, potato shaped shaker, claps, stomps, harmonica in A, sticks. At the beginning you can hear Gus blowing up an inflatable green alien. Sounds like wheezing.
