ALEJANDRO FRANOV (born 1972, resides in Buenos Aires) is one of the most important musicians in Argentina, brought to worldwide critical acclaim by singer/songwriter and actress Juana Molina.

FRANOV worked as a sound producer for Juana's three albums, "Segundo" (2000), "Tres Cosas" (2002) and "Son" (2006).


「アルゼンチン音響派」最重要人物の一人。ブエノスアイレス在住。シタール、アコーディオン、キーボード、ギター、パーカッション、ボーカルと何でもこなすマルチ奏者。フアナ・モリーナのプロデュースや、モノ・フォンタナの作品にも参加、2007年にはフェルナンド・カブサッキらと来日、ROVOの勝井祐二、山本精一ら多数とコラボレート。その後、ネイチャーブリスより3枚の国内盤をリリースし、アルゼンチン音響派を定着させる。名作 「Khali」 は独の音響系レーベル Staubgold よりライセンス・リリースもされ、全世界で発売。世界規模でますます注目を集める、目が離せないアーティスト。
