I am releasing this album on the day of my high school graduation. I have this summer and then every decision I make after that compounds into what my life is "actually" going to be. Such a statement, however, begs the question: what has my life actually been? An intricate set of meanings and my interrelation with the meanings found by others, I answer. Accordingly, this album is for all the dear friends who contributed to my arrangements here. I have taken care to edit their performances and my own alike only minimally, such that they are presented frankly and honest-to-God, as life should be. Many people learned improvisation and "trusting the process" for the sake of this work (I hope I did a good job teaching them), so here's the payoff, everyone. Much love.
