Intro
In my language we have no such words as please or thank you, because it is what is expected of us is that we share, and we give what we have. Today, we have to say please, we have to say thank you, we have to beg for things ; in the old days it was just a given thing that we would share things, that was a part of who we are, and not only for aboriginal people, I expect that people all around the world would do the same things before money.
But nowadays it’s mine, there are words like mine, there were no such words as mine in my culture. It is ours, it is a collective, it belongs to all of us. But today we have I, me, mine, and we don’t share, we don’t give, but we deny other people shelter, we deny other people food, we deny other people survival, purely because of money.

I miss the time we were smoking doobies on the beach,
Jumping head first off cliffs is what we used to be doing,
Watching the sun rise, waking up to the sun light.
Cruising in the neighbourhood, I’m high as fuck I feel so good,
I buy my lazy ass a drink and see what’s next for the afternoon.
I probably won’t do much, getting drunk for the sunset.
Making friends around the fire,
Hanging loose and getting higher,
Drinking, laughing, talking shit,
Running naked at the sea,
Is what we used to be doing,
This is what we used to be doing.
Easy rolling down the streets of my hometown,
After a long night out.
Long rides by the beach,
Wearing long sleeves and playing low profile.
I can still feel the sand on my feet from the long walks across the woods,
It wasn’t just you and me in the woods, I hope you knew.
Long blunts by the cliffs,
Tea tree got me feeling like
My long rides to the beach
Were the best things I ever had.
Standing on my feet,
Puts a big smile on my face,
And when I get back on the ground
My mind is somewhere it never went before.
It’s easy rolling down the streets of my hometown,
Easy rolling,
My hometown,
Easy rolling down the streets of my hometown.
My hometown.
