Familia by Nick Barbachano
"Familia" is inspired by love for our beautiful Mother Earth, all her magical plants, and the global family who live in her embrace. The album takes you on a ceremonial journey through the landscape of human emotions and into the heart of prayer and love. The songs are based in guitars and vocals which provide the foundation for musical accompaniments on cello, double bass and synthesizers.
Nick Barbachano is joined by a host of talented musicians including Danit Treubig (vocals), Matthew Barley (Cello), Mao Tatanka (vocals and harmonica), Misha Mullov-Abbado (Double Bass), Liam Fletcher (vocals, percussion, bass, and synths) and Jonas Winter (vocals).
All songs written by Nick Barbachano except for "Plantas Sagradas" written by Danit Treubig, "Mao Tatanka" by Mao Tatanka and "Yashi Nahuel" by Yashi Nahuel.
