“O.” was inspired by the throbbing rhythm of waves, and their infinite backflow, from one shore to the other, leaving only the fleeting salt deposits behind. Covered with haphazard white patches of foam, joining storms to long and wide stretches of sand. Oceans whose waters cast up both sighs of relief and impressive prayers only let us see the quiet sea from the windy dam, and then turn back again, to the other shore, and then come back again...
“O” was composed between 2016 and 2019, of different parts corresponding to different moments of life, but always with the same colors and pictures in mind. Initially, this album consisted of three movements, but the third one will never be recorded, due to too many reasons.
Part I was inspired by both minimalist and modern-classical music, whereas Part II should be regarded as an instinctive piece, trying to catch the present moment, whatever it may be.
