On his second album „Sinmachine“ (release 2004) the Blind Passengers-mastermind Nik Page ingeniously ties together the power of gothic rock, catchy pop-hymns, monumental choral arrangements and intelligent electronix.
Though all tracks sound very song orientated, the lavish production opens up a tremendous depth and dynamic force.
„Sinmachine“ shows how varied, modern and detailed Gothic Rock can be.
So it wasn´t a surprise that this great CD entered place 1 of the soundcheck in Zillo-Magazine Sept. 2004 (record of the month).
Some top-class guests from the German alternative scene supported the studio recordings:
Dirk Scheuber - Project Pitchfork (Sweet Dust)
Tanzwut / Corvus Corax (Road of Damnation)
Joachim Witt (Dein Kuss)
Angelzoom (Road of Damnation)
Eva Pölzing – Blutengel (Sweet Dust, Bad Karma)
Nik Page grew up behind the „Iron Curtain“ in the communistic part of Germany.
Three years after the fall of the wall he released the first Blind Passengers-album „The Glamour Of Darkness“. A few years later the Blind Passengers became one of the most important industrial-metal bands in Germany. Their forth longplayer Bastard (released in GSA by EPIC Records/Sony Music) entered the official German Album Charts. „Hammer“ and „Break Out“ known as two of the biggest german rock magazines put Blind Passengers in the record of the month position for may 99. In February 2001 Blind Passengers released their last CD „Neosapiens“ at Goldrush /BMG.
From 1997-2001 the Blind Passengers took part at more than 50 european rock festivals (such as Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Wacken-Open Air, Arvika-Festivalen, Zillo-Open Air, Dynamo - North Power Jam, Go Bang and much more) and played on one stage with David Bowie, The Prodigy, Sisters Of Mercy, Type O Negative, Dog Eat Dog, Front 242, Skunk Anansie, Clawfinger and many more. As well as hundreeds of Headliner-Club-shows and a support tour with Anne Clark they made a very successful tour through Germany with Kid Rock.
Nik Page´ author debut, the Cyber-Punk novel "Neosapiens" was highly praised by the press (released 2001 on Verlagshaus Sonneberg).
After the split of Blind Passengers Nik Page released 2002 his first solo-album „Sacrifight“. Thematically "Sacrifight" is not based on science-fiction-worlds as it was in Mr. Page's lyrics on the last Blind Passengers-CD´s and the Neosapiens book. On Sacrifight Nik Page grapples with existential questions of human sex drive & yearning in battle against self-imposed doctrines and moral codexes, as a result of 2000 years of mental christian dictatorship.
Electrified Goth'n'Roll from Berlin with the voices of Blind Passenger-frontman Nik Page and many friends such as Jürgen Engler (Die Krupps), Scheuber (Ex-Project Pitchfork), Eric Fish (Subway To Sally), Joke Jay (And One), Joachim Witt, Tanzwut, Corvus Corax, Angelzoom, Koefte de Ville (Mad Sin), Rod Usher (The Other), Alf Ator (Knorkator), Sven Friedrich (Sloar fake, Zeraphine), Letzte Instanz..
