Falsehood by S.I.S.S.I.G.
Veteran producer Nawoto Suzuki moves on to Noisj.nl with his S.I.S.S.I.G. project, and „Falsehood“ is an intense concrete monolith of industrial hardcore - expect to be baffled, even by Noisj.nl standards! Get crushed by multiple layers of suffocating feedback and sonic debris that draw from Japan’s long tradition in noise music, and amid all that havoc the crisp kick drum punching you in the groin proper. Speedwise, the release accelerates from just below to well above 150 bpm over the course of these four tracks, and in the end it’s a matter of personal choice which track you prefer: The rhythm noise opener “Vacuity”, the slightly groovier title track, “Wedge” – hitting the dance floor like a wrecking ball, or the final catharsis of “Marrow”.
